Common questions.
BrowserBeast is installed, but I cannot see it.
Open Chrome’s Extensions menu using the puzzle-piece icon, find BrowserBeast, and pin it to the toolbar.
A page did not capture correctly. What should I try?
- Wait for the page to finish loading.
- Scroll through the content once so dynamically loaded sections appear.
- Retry using Full Render.
- Use Highlighted Text for a specific passage.
Some protected, embedded, browser-internal, or unusual page surfaces cannot be captured. Always review the final record.
Where are my captures saved?
Downloaded files are saved through Chrome using your normal download settings. Copied Markdown or plain text is placed on your clipboard.
Does BrowserBeast upload my data?
No. BrowserBeast is local-first and user-triggered. It requires no account, performs no automatic background capture, and does not upload your captures to AI Underground.
Why did I receive a privacy warning?
BrowserBeast may detect signs of logged-in or private page context, such as an account menu, dashboard, inbox, profile control, or billing area. The warning is advisory: review the captured content before sharing it.
Can BrowserBeast capture AI conversations?
Yes. BrowserBeast is especially useful for preserving AI conversations as structured, AI-ready text. Private conversations may contain sensitive material, so review them carefully before sharing.
Report a problem
Give us enough to reproduce it.
For a public technical report, include the BrowserBeast version, Chrome version, operating system, page or platform, capture mode, expected result, actual result, and steps to reproduce.
Before reporting
- Confirm you are using the current version.
- Retry the capture once.
- Note the website, application, or game and the capture mode used.
- Copy any exact error text and write down the steps that produced it.
- Remove passwords, private material, account details, and confidential information.
